With a variety of professional and personal experience, our choreographers have a passion for teaching the love and technique of dance.
Sallie McCown
Sallie McCown began her dance training at the age of 5 at Elizabeth King's Dance Studio in Fort Worth and continued her training with Ed Holoman and Larry Howard through high school and college. She began her teaching career for the Fort Worth Parks and Recreation Dept. in 1975, teaching dance classes at R.D. Evans, Southwest, and Northside Recreation Centers. Sallie opened Sallie's School of Dance in 1978. Over the past 37 years, students from Sallie's School of Dance have received college scholarships for dance excellence, numerous competitions (regional and national), performed on cruise ships and Disneyworld, and many have become dance instructors/professional performers. Sallie currently has former students teaching and performing throughout the U.S. and as far away as London, England. Of the thousands of students who have trained with Miss Sallie, all have achieved poise, grace, self-confidence, and the discipline to achieve their dreams.
Tryniti
Tryniti Chiles has been dancing for 10 years, followed by 2 years of assistant teacher training. Tryniti has been recognized with many regional and national scholarships and awards. She is beginning her 2nd year as an instructor for Sallie's School of Dance, teaching the Junior Competition Team as well as numerous recreational classes in ballet, lyrical, jazz and hip hop. Her classes are creative and fun with a focus on insuring that every student reaches their full potential.
Ashley Chiles
Ashley grew up dancing at Sallie's School of Dance and won many National Titles. She then went on to cheering competitively, earning a scholarship to Navarro College in Corsicana, TX. Ashley considers Sallie's to be a forever home and is excited to be back!
Isabella Elizalde
Isabella Elizalde is a Mexican American dancer, choreographer and educator from Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. Isabella began dancing at the age of 14 with her church worship dance team. In 2020 she began her dance training at Sallie's School of Dance where she decided to pursue her passion for dance and teaching. This will be Isabella's third year as an instructor at Sallie's School of Dance where she will be teaching the Mini Dance Team, Musical Theatre, jazz, lyrical and ballet classes and solos.
